Question: How much should Honda Accord Tires cost?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord and the tires look really worn down. I want to replace them, how much do they normally cost to replace? Also, how much do you think the labor would cost?

Answer: For all four you're looking at $400 at the very least but if you go to an auto wrecker you can get some really good used tires for far less and usually they're still on the rims. Then you just have to take them to a tire store and pay the labor cost. It'll be less than half price.

Question: How long will a 1995 Honda Accord last?
I'm possibly looking into buying a 1995 Honda Accord with 203,000 miles on it. In my opinion I think that is too many miles but I could be wrong. The seller is asking for $3,300, surely enough I'll try to bring the price down.

Answer: AutoOnInfo.net's roster of vehicles with 300,000 or more miles lists 12 Honda Accords, likely more than any other model. Ages range from 1984 to 1997, with the highest mileage Accord having 633,256 miles. All reported that their engine was original; all but two reported that their transmission was original. Some of the submitters have made available their email addresses, so you may contact those whose email addresses are still current to ask for problems that they have experienced.

Question: How much amp outage does a standard 1991 honda accord have?
Im trying to buy new speakers for my honda and want to know how much amp outage does a 1991 honda accord have? Also, what are the best speakers to buy and where can i get them?

Answer: I replaced the 6x9's in my girlfriend's 1993 Accord EX a week ago and they said 15w on the back, but I believe that's peak not RMS. They're probably more like 7.5w or so RMS. If you're on the stock radio, you're definately not going to see more than that 15w at the speakers, so if you want to take full advantage of new speakers you need to get a new head unit and an amplifier for the speakers. Though even just a new head unit would be a good improvement.

Question: How do I pick a car stereo that will fit in my '97 Honda Accord?
I have a 1997 Honda Accord EX. Currently, it has an Alpine CD Player model CDE-7826 but it is not working correctly. So, I want to get a new one (the power keeps turning off whenever I go over a bump). If I just buy another Alpine will it work with the existing wiring? Also, the plastic that surrounds the CD Player (the molding in between the unit and the housing of the car) is cracked, so I want to replace that as well.

I want to purchase something off of ebay b/c I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I'm unsure if the new stereo I buy will work correctly with what's already there. I've taken the stereo out and it appears easy to put a new one in - as long as the wires are compatible.

Answer: you can buy a compatible wiring harness to go with whichever stereo you chose. it should be fairly easy to replace, as long as it fits in the housing that is laready installed. if it doesnt, you might have to go to a car audio shop and have them install it for like 50-100 bucks.

Questions: Whats the lowest price one can find on the 2008 Honda Accord EX-L version with navigation?
Whats the lowest price one can find on the 2008 Honda Accord in USA on the EX-L version with navigation? and is the new 2008 Accord is better than the previous one ?

Answer: Yes the 2008 is better. It is way more loaded than before; however the demand is high. Folks are paying sticker in Southern Ca for it or getting very, very little off. If you can wait one more year to let the hype go down and let them work any kinks out from the newest version, I would. Otherwise, good luck. Shop online and do your homework before going to the lot. Maybe if you don't have to have a particular color/features/ you can work a deal out. Good luck... It is a sweet car!

Question: What could be causing the vibrating sound from my rear tire on my 2003 Honda Accord?
I have a 2003 Honda Accord. When I go in reverse, my car begings to make this weird vibrating sound. I have taken off the brakes and my rotors and brake pads are fine. What could be causing this sound? Could it be something else besides the brakes?

Answer: Think of vibration like motor noise fairly quick that changes with throttle. Because you are not driving very far or fast in reverse I would think a motor mount is weak and the motor moves to much and exhaust is hitting the back of the car Jump into the trunk and have someone back up and see what the tail pile does the tubing might be touching something.

Question: Why won't my Honda accord start is it the alternator belt if so, where is that under the hood?
My Honda accord is a 92 and is not starting not even turning over i need help and i have zero funds to figure out the problem

Answer: Check and clean the battery cable connections with a wire brush. If the battery is dead, see if a friend has a battery charger to charge it with.

Question: Where is the Oxygen Sensor located in 97 Honda Accord?
The Check engine light came on and we had it checked out and they guy said we need to replace the o2 sensor..We have a 97 honda accord. Where would the sensor be located on my car and how do we change them? Is it something simple we can do or do we have to take it to the shop?

Answer: There are two (on 4 cyl) - one before, and one after catalytic converter. You need a special socket to replace it but first I suggest you determine which one is bad by checking the code number.
Oh, those parts store guys that tell you that an O2 sensor is bad but don't mention that there are more than one. Don't get me started!

Question: Can a manual 1993 Honda del sol Si beat an automatic V6 Accord in a race?
I've got a guy I know who drives an automatic 2001 V6 Honda Accord who thinks he the coolest guy ever. I drive a 1993 Honda del sol Si thats manual. The only thing I've done to my car in performance is add an exhaust system. Could I beat him in a race? If not what could I do to my car that would let me beat him? (If your a V8 lover and wants to talk trash about honda's just shut up and dont read my question.)

Answer: I would think it would be a pretty good race, since you have a manual. Yes you have a 4 cylinder but in a much smaller car.

I would not recomend spending any money just to outrun some guy who thinks he is cool. Not worth it.

And it is possible you could take him right now.

Your Si Del Sol should have 125 horsepower.

Accord has 200 horsepower. You did not mention if coupe or sedan.

Del sol is around 1000 lbs lighter though. So should run fairly well with manual transmission...not sure it runs well enough to beat the accord though.

Here are some base times..

Honda Accord LX V-6 0-60 8.3 1/4 mi 16.6

1993 Honda Civic del Sol Si 0-60 8.8 1/4 mi16.8.

Also these times are standard and they are close enough that a good driver in an SI Del Sol could probably beat the Auto Accord.

If you have added exhaust then you need to add a Cold Air Intake as well. You can also put in bigger wires and stronger plugs, but any difference with plugs/wires would be minimal, but might be enough. Another step (big) is to replace the clutch with a racing one. Could also change the pulleys.
